“Information Bits from the Boss: Samantha provides brief answers to clients frequently asked questions”
What if I don’t have a successor agent named?
We always recommend that you name a successor agent in your legal documents. If you do not have a successor agent, we typically include a provision in our documents that allow an agent to appoint a successor agent. That’s one way we can make sure that individuals always have successor agents. If for some reason the agent you appoint, is no longer able or willing to serve, it allows him or her to appoint somebody to serve for you. If you have any additional questions, please contact our office.
