“Information Bits from the Boss: Samantha provides brief answers to clients frequently asked questions”
What if I’m listing a charity as a beneficiary under my will, how best to do that?
When we are providing for a charity through a client’s will, we also like to provide if the funds are to go towards a specific purpose or intent for that charity. To the extent that a client doesn’t have a specific charitable purpose for the charity, we will then indicate the funds can be used for the charity’s general charitable purposes. We always want to encourage the client to specify to the extent on how they want it used and in the last will and testament you are able to do that. If you have additional questions, please contact our office.
